Prayer
I cannot pretend to know the mind of God
God grant me wisdom and knowledge
Grant me vision with perspective
Grant me a compliant will and a teachable spirit
That I may lose my way in you only to be found for eternity in grace.
Oh that your thoughts would be my thoughts and your ways mine
Being free to roam these streets finding rest in you alone.
Grant me the soul of a homeless man so I will live in hunger and thirst, not satisfied, for You.
That I may be called "son" both here and in eternity from Your lips to my ears... amen
